Every vendor comparison is written by someone with a preference, including this one. What follows is our editorial read of where each product sits, plus—more usefully—a method for reaching your own conclusion that does not depend on trusting ours.

These are positioning statements, not a feature audit. Products change, editions differ, and any row could be out of date by the time you read it. Validate on a trial before it enters a procurement document.
Start from your motion, not the shortlist
The evaluation that actually decides it
- Write down your must-have objects and reports before the first demo. Vendors will otherwise define your requirements for you.
- Import a real slice—twenty live opportunities with their accounts—into each finalist. Note how long mapping and dedupe take.
- Run two weekly pipeline reviews inside each tool. If a manager exports to a spreadsheet to run the meeting, that tool has failed the test.
- Have three reps log a week of activity from their phones, on a real connection.
- Security and governance review: subprocessors, export rights, admin audit visibility (audit trail).
- Legal review: DPDP mapping for the personal data your CRM will hold.
- Price the whole thing: seats, migration, training, integrations, hosting, admin time.
Two questions vendors dislike
“Show me an export of everything, right now.” Export rights are your exit, and the trial is the only time you have leverage to test them.
“What does your audit log actually record?” The answer determines whether you can investigate an incident at all—and it is rarely on a feature page.
